Technical Rescue

Standby Rescue Cover

Pulse Safety Solutions provide a range of safety services that can support your organisation. Whether you require assistance in the planning and assessing of confined space or high risk work, or require standby rescue teams, our experienced consultants and rescue technicians can help. We can keep your work teams safe and support you in understanding and compliance with your duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act and Confined Space Regulations 1997.

When planning work in confined spaces, the requirement to implement an emergency plan must always be assessed prior to the start of any work. Standby rescue teams may be part of the safe system of work to keep your teams safe.

We can provide expert rescue teams that are not only trained to the highest standard but have a wealth of experience working for frontline emergency services and as confined space operators in various industries. Alongside our confined space skills, our rescue technicians are all trained in technical rope rescue, water rescue and immediate emergency care.

Whether you require a standby rescue team, support in entry, and exit of confined spaces, or assistance in the planning of a project we can provide a professional service to suit your needs.

Confined Space Training

Pulse Safety Solutions offer a wide range of confined space working services. We are able to deliver the full City and Guilds 6160 suite of confined space courses at our dedicated training centre in Cardiff, or with our mobile training unit anywhere in the United Kingdom.

We offer a consultation service providing guidance and information to allow your company to work safely in confined spaces, and in line with the Confined Space Regulations 1997, National Occupational Standards and other relevant guidelines. We can assist you in the risk assessment process and provide dedicated confined space entry and standby rescue teams.

All our trainers and rescue technicians are qualified to the highest standard, coupled with extensive emergency service and industry working backgrounds.

Trench Rescue Training

Trench rescue refers to the rescue of workers or others who have become trapped in a trench or narrow excavation in the ground, commonly used for construction and utility purposes.

It requires a coordinated effort of emergency personnel including firefighters, police officers, and paramedics to safely extricate the trapped individuals while stabilizing the trench to prevent further collapse. Trench Incidents can be complex and hazardous for both casualties and rescuers.

All our instructors have real life experiences of trench incidents during their many years as front line emergency services operators and commanders and apply these experiences to the theory input and the extensive field exercises that our courses offer.

Our courses focus on the shoring methods utilised by the majority of Fire and Rescue Services and USAR teams throughout the UK.

Rope Rescue Training

Pulse Safety Solutions offer a range of working at height courses and training packages. This includes technical rope rescue, safe working at height, harness awareness training, and rope access.

Our trainers and technicians have gained vast experience and knowledge working in emergency service technical rescue teams throughout the United Kingdom and overseas, in both operational and training capacities.

We can offer a solution to your working at height needs by training your team members to the required standard, or by offering a dedicated team to carry out the task to your specific requirements.
